HOW TO STAY CALM AFTER SEEING A LENGTHY OR UNEXPECTEDLY DIFFICULT PAPER

It is natural to feel stressed and anxious during exam time. Candidates can’t help but feel stressed due to the immense pressure on them. NEET itself is one of the most competitive examinations held in the country and students can’t help but feel stressed on the day of the exam even if they have prepared well.

3 WAYS TO MANAGE STRESS

  • If you feel you are losing control over yourself and starting to panic, you must have, some patience and know the anxious air shall soon flow away. Relax your body and focus on your breathing.
  • Do not focus on your surroundings. Do not try to figure out what others are doing. By doing so, you add fuel to your already anxious mind and risk your performance in the examination.
  • Keep yourself hydrated and as calm as possible. Practice positive self-talk. Try to motivate yourself and pick yourself up from the abyss. Keep repeating to yourself, “I can do this.”
