How To Apply For neet ?
NEET application form 2022 release date is expected to be released soon by the National Testing Agency (NTA). As per the latest news, NEET 2022 application form date by NTA will be announced by the end of January. NEET 2022 registration website is https://nta.ac.in/medicalexam . Only eligible candidates can register for NEET entrance exam. Before filling NEET application form 2022, it is mandatory for candidates to register themselves. NTA NEET 2022 application form can be filled in five steps – NEET registration, filling of the application form, uploading of documents/images, payment of registration fee and a printout of the confirmation page of NEET 2022. More than 15 lakh aspirants fill ntaneet.nic.in application form every year. Last year, as many as 15,44,275 NEET application form were filled to appear for the medical entrance exam
The steps to fill the application form of NEET 2022 are mentioned below. Candidates are advised to follow these steps to avoid making mistakes while filling up the NEET 2022 application form.
Step 1 – NEET Registration 2022
To register for NEET 2022, candidates must enter their name, mother’s name, father’s name (in capital letters) as given in the Class 12 Board application. A password must also be created as per the given specifications which will be the password for all future login. A provisional application number will be generated after registration for NEET 2022 login. This will be the user ID that will have to be used to ntaneet.nic.in login 2022.
The following details must be entered during NEET 2022 registration:

● Gender
● Nationality
● State of Eligibility
● Category
● Person with Disabilities
● Identification Type

To complete the NEET registration, candidates must verify the above details and submit.
Choose Password: The next step would be to choose a password, retype the same, enter a security question and chose the answer. Keep the security question and answer safe as this may be required to retrieve the password in case a candidate forgets it.
OTP Verification: This is a mandatory step in NEET 2022 registration where candidates must click on the OTP verification to verify the same. They must use the OTP sent to their registered mobile number.
Generation of Provisional Application Number of NEET 2022 – With successful registration for NEET, the provisional application number will be displayed. This must be noted down as it is the NEET 2022 login ID for all future logins.
Step 2 – Filling up the NEET 2022 application form
It is mandatory to fill details as mentioned in the Class 10 certificate. So candidates are advised to keep their class 10 certificate in hand while filling the application form of NEET 2022. The other details to be filled in the NEET 2022 application form are:

● The medium of question paper will have to be chosen from all the languages available. Candidates can choose from English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Urdu. It is to be noted that with the exception of English, Hindi and Urdu, other languages option is available only if the NEET 2022 exam center chosen is in the state of origin of that language.

Candidates will be required to give details of subject-wise marks of qualifying exam (Class 12 or equivalent). The marks for the following subjects have to filled.

● Candidates must provide their residential address in the NEET 2022 application form.
● Mobile number and Email ID are automatically displayed from registration details.
Section 9. Correspondence Address – Candidates can enter the details or opt to show their permanent address as the one for correspondence.
Section 10. Details of Parents/ Guardian – Here, candidates must fill the details of their parents like qualification, occupation and annual income
Section 11. Do you intend to wear a customary dress contrary to the Dress code while appearing for the exam? Candidates who have traditional dress compulsions must opt for this else indicate “no”.
Section 12. Enter security pin and submit – Candidates must enter the given security pin and submit the details.
Review of NEET Application Form 2022: It is advisable that candidates review all details before final submission to be sure of its acceptance and avoid unnecessary worry and stress on account of silly mistakes made in the NEET 2022 application form and wait for correction facility.
Step 3 – Uploading of scanned documents and images
After filling out the details in the application form of NEET 2022, the next step is to upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature as specified.
● Passport Photograph: It must be passport size with a white background having the name of the candidate and date of photograph underneath the image. Size of the file can be 10 KB to 200 KB in JPEG format.
● Signature: This must be done with a black ink pen on a white paper and should be scanned to a file with size 4 KB to 30 KB in JPG format.
● Class 10 certificate: The scanned image of the document should be in JPG format and the size of the image should be between 100 KB and 300 KB.
● Left-hand thumb impression: Candidates must upload a digital image of left-hand thumb impression on a white paper with blue ink in JPG format and the size should be between 10 KB and 50 KB.
● Postcard size photo: Apart from the passport size photo, candidates are required to upload postcard size photograph in JPG format with size between 50KB and 300 KB.
Step 4 – Payment of NEET Application Fee
NEET 2022 application fee can be paid in online mode only:
Candidates must ensure that the Credit/Debit card used for payment is within the validity period. For net banking, it is advisable to check the balance of the account and keep all the credentials ready before logging on to submit the application form.
Online Payment: Through Debit/Credit/ Net Banking and Unified Payment Interface (UPI) using State Bank of India/Syndicate Bank/ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank/Paytm service provider.
Note: Keep the proof of payment in the form of transaction ID/ receipt in case of online payment safe till admission is complete.

Step 5 – Printing the NEET Acknowledgement receipt
● Once the application fee is paid, a confirmation page or acknowledgement receipt will be generated. This means that the application of NEET 2022 has been successfully submitted.
● A copy of the NEET acknowledgement or confirmation page will also be sent to the registered email as well the mobile number of the candidates.
● Candidates are advised to save this acknowledgement receipt for future reference. They are also advised to take a printout of the same for reference.
Important Documents to be retained till admission:
1. Printout of NEET 2022 confirmation page
2. Proof of payment of application fee
3. 6 to 8 copies of photograph uploaded
4. Copy of system generated Self-Declaration in respect of candidate from J&K who have opted for seats under 15% All India Quota
How to retrieve password for NEET application form 2022?
There are two methods to retrieving it. However, before going to that, there are a few steps they must follow.
Click on, “Forgot password” link in the candidate’s login.

Correction of Image Discrepancy in NEET 2021 application form
NTA will intimate all registrered students about the image discrepancy which must be corrected before the last date. Any modifications or corrections to the photograph/signature could be done using the login facility given by NTA or even with the correction window from January 15 to 31, 2021, tentatively. Candidates must follow the steps below to correct any discrepancies in their photograph or signature uploaded with the NEET application form 2021:

● The option to upload the photograph/signature will be displayed on the screen.
● Upload the correct images as per the given specifications.
● Verify once before submitting it.

● After the given OTP number is entered, the NEET correction slip will be displayed on the screen.
● It is advised to safe keep this printout for future reference.
NEET 2022 Application Form – What to Keep Ready Beforehand ?
It is advisable to keep certain details and documents ready before filling the NEET 2022 application form. This ensures a smooth registration and application experience along with minimal chances of mistakes. The first thing to ensure is the usage of the prescribed browser which is also compatible. Other things to keep ready while filling the NEET application form 2022 are as follows:
- A valid Mobile Number
- A valid Email Address
- Class 10 details and Class 12 details (Marksheet, certificate, school details etc)
- Correct spelling of Father and Mother’s name
- Aadhaar number (last 4 digits only)
- Class 12 Roll number issued by the Board/Election Card (EPIC No.), Passport Number, ration card number, bank account or any other valid Govt. identity number
- Scanned images of passport-sized photograph, and signature and other documents (if applicable). Details are given in the table below
- Credit/Debit card or Net Banking details (for online payment)

Why NEET 2022 application form release date delayed?
Due to the previous years’ session, NTA NEET application form 2021 has been delayed. As per the NEET latest news, the education minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ is expected to announce NEET application form 2021 release date soon at ntaneet.nic.in. NTA notice before the release of NEET 2021 application form will also be released soon.
How to prepare for NEET?
There are already so many answer to this questions , it’s really overwhelming. Everyone has a unique preparation strategy. So I’m going for a bit different route with this answer and provide a basic set of tools that worked for me.
But first understand the situation here. You have decided to appear for the NEET and want to be a doctor. What is unique about you? Nothing! You are doing what already lakhs of students of our country doing. Roughly assume 99% of students won’t get a good rank. So you have to be the 1%.
So here’s a general layout,

NEET Eligibility Criteria 2022
The National Testing Agency has prescribed the NEET 2021 eligibility criteria. All those who wish to apply for the entrance test are advised to check if they fit into the criteria specified by NTA. Candidates who fulfil the following parameters are eligible for NEET 2022:

Age Limit :
The minimum age of a candidate as on December 31, 2022, should be 17 years
The rule specifying the maximum age limit of the candidate was challenged last year in the court of law. Thus, there is no upper age limit as of now and candidates older than 25 years of age applying for NEET 2022 will be provisionally admitted subject to the ruling of the High Court of Delhi.
Minimum qualification :
Candidate must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised institute
Candidates who are appearing for Class 12 or equivalent in summer 2021 can also apply for NEET 2022
