The National Eligibility Entrance Test is also known as NEET is an All India Pre- Medica test for students who wish to become a doctor and want to aspire medicine degree. This entrance exam is for students who wish to aspire to the undergraduate medical (MBBS) or dental (BDM) program. This examination is conducted once a year, only science students are eligible for this examination. A candidate who wishes to study medical courses needs to have Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology as their compulsory subjects in Class 10th and 12th and must have passed these subjects.
The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), which provides the results to the Directorate General of Health Services under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and State Counselling Authorities for seat allocation.
Every year more than 15 lac students appear for the NEET exam. Out of those, only a handful of students will get to pass. This exam is conducted once every year, it is a 3-hour MCQ-based paper, there are a total of 3 subjects n the examination- Physics- 45 questions, Chemistry- 45 questions, and Biology 90 questions. You need to solve a total of 180 questions in 180 minutes, so each question 1 minute.
